2hp ADSR
Four-stage linear envelope in two expressive ranges
2 HP Eurorack module
The 2hp ADSR is a compact four-stage linear envelope generator designed for Eurorack modular synthesis. It features two selectable time ranges for both precise short transients and long evolving shapes, making it equally suited for snappy percussive envelopes and slow atmospheric modulation. Ideal for controlling filters, VCAs, and oscillators with independent control over each stage.
Features
- Four independent ADSR stages with individual knob control
- Two selectable time ranges: Slow (0.54ms–5 sec) and Fast (5ms–30 sec) per stage
- Linear envelope response
- Output range: 0V to 10V
- Gate input with 2.5V threshold
- LED visual indication of envelope output
- 2HP skiff-friendly format (47mm depth)
- Suitable for modulating filters, VCAs, and oscillators
Controls & Jacks (8)
- Gate — Gate input. Envelope emits when gate signal above 2.5V is received.
- Attack — Sets the attack time of the envelope. Far left = fastest attack, far right = slowest attack based on selected range.
- Out — Envelope output. Range: 0V–10V.
- LED — Visual indication of the envelope output level.
- Release — Sets the release time of the envelope. Far left = fastest release, far right = slowest release based on selected range.
- Range — Toggles between two time ranges. Up = slow range (0.54ms–5sec per stage), down = fast range (5ms–30sec per stage).
- Sustain — Sets the sustain level of the envelope. Far left = lowest level, far right = highest level.
- Decay — Sets the decay time of the envelope. Far left = fastest decay, far right = slowest decay based on selected range.
