2hp Arp
Gate-driven two-HP arpeggiator with 13 chord types
2 HP Eurorack module
The 2hp Arp is a compact gate-driven arpeggiator that generates melodic sequences from a selection of 13 chord types across 8 playback modes. It accepts external CV for both root note and chord selection, making it highly patchable for generative and performance contexts. Its V/Oct output covers a full 0-5V range and can span one or two octaves depending on the selected mode.
Features
- 13 available chord types including major, minor, dominant 7, diminished, augmented, and suspended variants
- 8 arpeggio playback modes: ascending, descending, pendulum, and random, each in one or two octave variants
- Gate/trigger-driven advancement with 0.4V threshold on Trig Input
- Reset input restarts arpeggio at root note with 0.4V threshold
- CV input for Root Knob (0V to +5V range)
- CV input for Chord Knob (0V to +5V range) enabling real-time chord modulation
- V/Oct output ranging 0V to +5V
- Three LED indicators (M/m, 7TH, *) with solid and blinking states to indicate active chord
- 2HP width for minimal rack footprint
- No +5V power rail required
Controls & Jacks (12)
- Chord — Selects the chord to be arpeggiated, indicated by the LEDs. Selectable chords include Major, Major 7, Dominant 7, Minor, Minor 7, Diminished
- Mode — Selects the arpeggio playback mode: Ascending one or two octaves, Descending one or two octaves, Pendulum one or two octaves, or Random one
- M/m — Indicates Major or Minor chord quality.
- Root — Sets the initial pitch offset of the output, i.e. the chord's root note.
- Trig Input — Advances the Arpeggio. Threshold: 0.4V
- 7th — Indicates the presence of a 7th interval in the chord.
- Root CV Input — CV input for the Root knob. Range: 0V to +5V
- * — Indicates special chord types (Augmented, Full Diminished 7, Sus 4 variants).
- RESET
- Output — V/Oct output for the arpeggio. Range: 0V to +5V
- Chord CV Input — CV input for the Chord knob. Range: 0V to +5V
- Reset Input — Restarts the Arpeggio at the root note. Threshold: 0.4V
