2hp DC
Three knob-driven DC voltage offsets in 2HP — 0–5V, 0–10V, and ±5V.
2 HP Eurorack module
The 2hp DC is a compact three-channel manual voltage offset generator. Each channel produces a steady DC voltage scaled to one of three useful ranges — 0 to +5V, 0 to +10V, and –5V to +5V — set by its own knob and sent to a dedicated output jack. With nothing to patch into, DC is a knob-driven CV source: a way to manually steer pitch, filter cutoff, attenuator levels or any CV input through a known range, or to add a controllable bias when summed with another modulation source through a mixer or attenuator. Channels are independent and DC-coupled, with no inputs, so the module behaves as three small voltage references in 2HP.
Features
- Three independent DC voltage offset generators in only 2HP
- Per-channel output ranges: 0V to +5V, 0V to +10V, and -5V to +5V
- Bipolar channel sweeps through 0V at center for ±-style CV control
- Each channel has its own knob and dedicated output jack
- No inputs — pure manual CV source, no patching required to use
- DC-coupled outputs hold a steady voltage for biasing or as a reference
- Useful as a manual pitch transpose for sequencers and quantizers
- Doubles as a ready-made bias voltage when summed with modulation in a mixer
- Knob travel is linear, so positions are easy to reproduce
- 12 o'clock on the bipolar channel sits near 0V for natural center / no-transpose
- Compact 2HP, skiff-friendly 45mm depth
- Low current draw: 12mA on +12V, 10mA on -12V
Controls & Jacks (6)
- 0 - 5V Offset — Sets the DC offset on the 0 - 5V output. Fully CCW outputs 0V; fully CW outputs +5V.
- 0 - 5V Output — Unipolar DC voltage output ranging from 0V to +5V, set by the 0 - 5V Offset knob.
- 0 - 10V Offset — Sets the DC offset on the 0 - 10V output. Fully CCW outputs 0V; fully CW outputs +10V.
- 0 - 10V Output — Unipolar DC voltage output ranging from 0V to +10V, set by the 0 - 10V Offset knob.
- -5/+5V Offset — Sets the DC offset on the -5/+5V output. Fully CCW outputs -5V, center outputs 0V, fully CW outputs +5V.
- -5/+5V Output — Bipolar DC voltage output ranging from -5V to +5V, set by the -5/+5V Offset knob.
