Freez is a voltage controlled locked looper that captures audio into a buffer and freezes it for real-time manipulation. Adjusting size and sample rate transforms the frozen audio into granular textures, pitch-shifted fragments, bit-crushed noise, and beat-repeat effects, making it a powerful tool for creating new sounds and timbres from any input signal.

Controls & Jacks (12)
- SIZE CV INPUT — CV input for SIZE control (±5V)
- S. RATE — Controls sample rate of the audio buffer from 2.36kHz to 96kHz; counterclockwise for lower rates, clockwise for higher rates
- IN — Audio input (10Vpp)
- S. RATE CV INPUT — CV input for S. RATE control (±5V)
- OUT — Audio output (10Vpp)
- Freeze LED — Indicates freeze state; illuminated when audio buffer is frozen, dark when dry signal passes through
- TRIG — Trigger input for freeze control
- SIZE — Controls the length of the audio buffer from 9ms to 3 seconds; counterclockwise increases buffer size, clockwise decreases it
- Freeze — Toggles between momentary (up) and latching (down) freeze functionality
- BUTTON — Manual freeze control; in momentary mode freezes while pressed, in latching mode toggles freeze state on press
- FREEZ — Indicates freeze state; illuminated when audio buffer is frozen, dark when dry signal passes through
- MODE — Toggles between momentary (up) and latching (down) freeze functionality
