The 2hp Tune is a compact voltage quantizer that snaps incoming CV signals to musically meaningful scales, enabling melodic and harmonic control in any Eurorack patch. With 11 available scales ranging from Chromatic to Octatonic and a Bias control for diatonic shifting of the note range, Tune brings precise musical structure to chaotic or generative CV sources.
Features
- 11 selectable scales including Chromatic, Major, Major Pentatonic, Minor, Minor Pentatonic, Harmonic Minor, Egyptian Minor, Whole Tone, Octatonic (0,2), Diminished, and Octatonic (0,1)
- CV input range of 0V to +5V for quantization
- Quantized V/Oct output range of 0V to +5V
- Scale LEDs visually indicate the currently selected scale
- Bias Knob for diatonic shifting of the note range within the selected scale
- Bias CV Input (0V to +5V) for CV-controlled diatonic bias
- Only 2HP wide, making it extremely space-efficient
- No +5V power draw
Controls & Jacks (22)
- Bias — Adjusts the base voltage level diatonically within the selected scale. Fully left = no bias, fully right = scale starts from last note
- Scale — Selects the quantized scale from 11 available options, indicated by the Scale LEDs
- Output — Quantized V/Oct output. Range: 0V to +5V
- Scale LED - Chromatic — Indicates Chromatic scale selected (all LEDs)
- Bias CV Input — Unipolar positive control voltage input for Bias. Range: 0V to +5V
- Input — CV signal input to be quantized. Range: 0V to +5V
- Scale LED - Minor Pentatonic — Indicates Minor Pentatonic scale selected
- Scale LED - Harmonic Minor — Indicates Harmonic Minor scale selected
- Scale LED - Major — Indicates Major scale selected
- Scale LED - Major Pentatonic — Indicates Major Pentatonic scale selected
- Scale LED - Minor — Indicates Minor scale selected
- Scale LED (Chromatic) — Indicates Chromatic scale selected (all LEDs)
- Scale LED (Major) — Indicates Major scale selected
- Scale LED (Major Pentatonic) — Indicates Major Pentatonic scale selected
- Scale LED (Minor) — Indicates Minor scale selected
- Scale LED (Minor Pentatonic) — Indicates Minor Pentatonic scale selected
- Scale LED (Harmonic Minor) — Indicates Harmonic Minor scale selected
- Scale LED (Egyptian Minor) — Indicates Egyptian Minor scale selected
- Scale LED (Whole Tone) — Indicates Whole Tone scale selected (WHL LED lit)
- Scale LED (Octatonic 0,2) — Indicates Octatonic (0,2) scale selected (WHL + asterisk LEDs lit)
- Scale LED (Diminished) — Indicates Diminished scale selected (DIM LED lit)
- Scale LED (Octatonic 0,1) — Indicates Octatonic (0,1) scale selected (DIM + asterisk LEDs lit)
