4ms Pingable Envelope Generator
Dual tempo-synced envelope generator with full CV control
20 HP Eurorack module
The Pingable Envelope Generator (PEG) is a dual envelope generator whose envelope lengths are set by the time between clock pulses or taps, making every parameter rhythmically aware. With full CV control of shape, skew, and clock division/multiplication, it blurs the line between envelope, LFO, clock divider, and audio harmonizer, lending a deeply musical and tempo-locked character to any patch.
Features
- Dual pingable envelope generator with tap tempo and external clock input per channel
- Envelope time set by time between clock pulses, divisible/multipliable from /8 to x8 in integer steps
- CV control of Ping Div/Mult, Skew, and Curve per channel
- Skew knob controls rise/fall ratio without changing total envelope time
- 17 curve shapes: exponential, linear, logarithmic, and interpolated combinations, symmetrical and asymmetrical
- Sync mode locks envelope to divided/multiplied ping clock; Async mode allows free-floating phase
- QNT jack triggers envelope on next ping clock beat with gate-hold repeat
- Async jack triggers envelope immediately with ASR or AR behavior
- Cycle button and T jack for self-cycling (LFO mode) and cycle toggling
- Scale knob is attenuating inverter: 0V to +10V, 0V to -10V, or any amount in between
- Bi-polar button centers output around 0V (-5V to +5V range)
- Unscaled +5V ENV output per channel always produces 0V to +5V
