4ms Stereo Triggered Sampler
Dual stereo sampler with recording, CV, and 600 samples
20 HP Eurorack module
The Stereo Triggered Sampler (STS) is a high-fidelity two-channel stereo audio recorder and playback module that can store up to 600 samples on a microSD card and play two different stereo files simultaneously. It offers deep CV control over pitch, start position, length, and sample selection, with on-board editing for loop/trim points, gain, and sample organization. Its musical character ranges from precise one-shot triggering and melodic 1V/oct playback to granular scrubbing, looping, and live recording of performances.
Features
- Two independent stereo playback channels can play any of 600 samples simultaneously
- Recording channel creates stereo WAV files directly onto microSD card for immediate use
- Supports WAV files up to 96kHz/32-bit/stereo
- Up to 600 samples loaded at once (10 per bank, 60 banks)
- Intelligent file system: drag folders onto card to create banks, folders named with colors load into color banks
- 1V/OCT pitch tracking with -10 to +4.3 octave range per channel
- Start Pos CV and knob set loop start point (0-100% of file)
- Length CV and knob set loop end point; under 50% applies percussive envelope; under 1% creates grains
- Reverse button and trigger jack toggle forward/backward playback per channel
- End Out jack fires +10V trigger on loop end, restart, or stop
- On-board Edit mode: set loop/trim points via Scrub Start/End, adjust gain 10%-500%
- Copy feature assigns same file to multiple slots with independent loop/gain settings
