The WAV Recorder by 4ms is a high-fidelity two-channel stereo audio recorder and basic playback module for Eurorack, storing lossless .wav files up to 96kHz/24-bit on a microSD card. It accepts a wide range of input signals from line-level to modular-level, features a trigger jack for synchronized multi-track recording, and can also serve as a stereo pre-amplifier providing up to +20dB of gain.

- Left IN — Left channel audio input. Accepts line-level, headphone-level, or modular-level signals. Normalized to Right IN when nothing is patched into
- Input Gain — Adjusts the gain of the input signal from -∞ (muted) to +20dB boost. 0dB position is center.
- Right IN — Right channel audio input. Accepts line-level, headphone-level, or modular-level signals.
- Left OUT — Left channel audio output for monitoring while recording or listening to playback.
- Right OUT — Right channel audio output for monitoring while recording or listening to playback.
- Record Trigger — Trigger input for recording control. In Record mode: toggles recording start/stop. In Playback mode: starts or restarts playback. Allows syn

- Record/Playback — Toggles between Record mode (up) and Playback mode (down).
- Busy — LED that indicates the module is busy writing to the SD card.
- Busy Light — Red LED that illuminates when the microSD card is being read or written
- Signal Meter — Eight LEDs (4 per channel) showing output signal level with clip indicators
