The ADE-32 Octocontroller is an 8-output rhythmic / modulation / control source for Eurorack. Each of the 8 outputs can be individually assigned one of 12 output types — pulses, gates, LFOs (square/ramp/triangle/sine), digital noise, sample-and-hold CV, sample-and-hold gates, 10 preset arpeggios, and 10 preset rhythmic loops. Each output also has its own clock division/multiple (1/16th beat to 64 beats / 16 bars) and phase offset, all displayed on a 3-column LED grid (TYPE / DIV / OFFS) so the entire 8-output state is visible at once. The module runs on its on-board 20-270 BPM clock or syncs to external clock at 1, 4 or 24 PPQN. Settings are stored in non-volatile memory and survive power-down. There are no menus — every parameter for every output lives on the panel.

- TYPE LED — White LED that lights when EDIT is showing the OUTPUT TYPE for the selected output. Matches the active TYPE row in the 12-LED column.
- DIV LED — White LED that lights when EDIT is showing the CLOCK DIVISION/MULTIPLE for the selected output. Lights to indicate LATCHING ON for that knob
- OFFS LED — White LED that lights when EDIT is showing the PHASE OFFSET for the selected output. Also lights to indicate quantizing ON or external clock
