AJH Synth Low Fat VCF
A 2 HP voltage-controlled high-pass filter with switchable 6 dB and 12 dB slopes.
2 HP Eurorack module
A compact voltage-controlled high-pass filter for removing excessive low frequencies or complementing other filters. Its cutoff can be controlled manually or by attenuated external CV, and its response switches between one-pole and two-pole slopes.
Features
- Manual or externally voltage-controlled cutoff frequency, with attenuation for the external CV.
- Switchable 6 dB-per-octave one-pole and 12 dB-per-octave two-pole responses.
- Can be combined with a low-pass filter to form a band-pass filter with a customizable passband.
- Can track a 1 V/octave pitch CV when F-CV Amount is set appropriately, keeping the filtering consistent as oscillator pitch changes.
Controls & Jacks (6)
- Frequency— Manually sets the high-pass filter cutoff frequency.
- F-CV Amount— Attenuates the control voltage received at the F-CV Input before it modulates the cutoff frequency.
- Input— Accepts the audio signal to be processed by the high-pass filter.
- Output— Outputs the high-pass-filtered audio signal.
- F-CV Input— Accepts an external control voltage for modulating the filter cutoff frequency; with suitable attenuation it can follow a 1 V/octave pitch s
- Slope— Selects either the gentle 6 dB-per-octave one-pole response or the steeper 12 dB-per-octave two-pole response.
How-To Guides
