ALM Busy Circuits mmMidi

Simple, compact MIDI interface for Eurorack

4 HP Eurorack module

Compact Eurorack MIDI interface that converts two independent MIDI note, velocity, and gate channels to CV, with MIDI clock converted to analog x24 clock and Run outputs.

Features

  • Supports CC68 to toggle legato, CC74 velocity override when Program Change is set to 1, and CC120/CC123 output reset.
  • Supports the optional mmT expander for a third MIDI channel of eight key-mapped gate outputs.
  • Converts incoming MIDI clock to 24 PPQN x24 clock and high Run outputs.

Controls & Jacks (12)

  • Channel 1 Velocity— 0–8 V velocity control-voltage output for the first learned MIDI channel.
  • Channel 2 Velocity— 0–8 V velocity control-voltage output for the second learned MIDI channel.
  • Channel 2 Gate— 5 V gate output for notes received on the second learned MIDI channel.
  • Channel 1 Gate— 5 V gate output for notes received on the first learned MIDI channel.
  • Run Output— Goes high while MIDI clock is present.
  • x24 Clock Output— Outputs a 24 PPQN clock when MIDI clock is present.
  • MIDI TRS Input— TRS Type-B MIDI input for use with the included TRS-to-DIN adaptor cable.
  • Channel 1 V/Oct— 0–8 V pitch control-voltage output for the first learned MIDI channel.
  • Learn— Hold to begin MIDI-channel learning; press again during setup to cancel.
  • Channel 2 V/Oct— 0–8 V pitch control-voltage output for the second learned MIDI channel.
  • Activity— Lights when MIDI activity is received; flashes progressively faster as channel-learning steps are completed, and remains lit during firmware
  • USB-C MIDI Input— USB-C MIDI-device input; this port does not provide power.
