PPEXP1 is a Pamela’s Pro Workout expander that adds DIN Sync and MIDI clock outputs alongside fixed clock-division, clock-multiplication, and Stop-trigger outputs.

Features

  • Provides DIN Sync and MIDI clock outputs, plus fixed-factor pulse outputs: x1, x2, x4, /4, /16, and Stop.
  • The Stop trigger fires when the clock stops and is intended for sequencer-reset inputs.
  • Remember: connect PPEXP1 only to the vertical MIDI-EX 5-pin connector; using the horizontal 6-pin EXPAND header can cause catastrophic damage.

  • Stop Trigger Output— Outputs a trigger when Pamela’s clock stops, intended for resetting sequencers.
  • x1 Clock Output— Outputs a pulse at the master clock’s x1 rate.
  • Gate Output— Outputs a high run gate while Pamela’s clock is playing, for DIN Sync use.
  • x4 Clock Output— Outputs pulses at four times the master clock rate.
  • /16 Clock Output— Outputs one pulse for every sixteen master-clock beats.
  • x24 Clock Output— Outputs a clock pulse at Pamela’s master x24 rate for DIN Sync use.
  • /4 Clock Output— Outputs one pulse for every four master-clock beats.
  • x2 Clock Output— Outputs pulses at twice the master clock rate.
  • /16 Clock Indicator— Flashes with the divided-by-sixteen clock output.
  • Stop Trigger Indicator— Flashes with the stop/reset trigger output.
  • x1 Clock Indicator— Flashes with the x1 clock output.
  • x4 Clock Indicator— Flashes with the x4 clock output.
  • x2 Clock Indicator— Flashes with the x2 clock output.
  • /4 Clock Indicator— Flashes with the divided-by-four clock output.
  • MIDI Out— TRS MIDI output carrying Pamela’s MIDI clock and transport information; use the supplied adapter cable or a compatible MIDI breakout.
  • Run Indicator— Shows the DIN Sync run-gate state.
