Antumbra Atom

Mini Elements — physical-modelling synth voice with bowed/blown/struck exciters

18 HP Eurorack module

Antumbra Atom is a 26HP DIY redesign of Mutable Instruments Elements by Émilie Gillet, ported to Antumbra's smaller form factor. It is a complete physical-modelling synth voice combining three exciters (Bow, Blow, Strike) with a multi-mode resonator (modal, string, tube, drum, etc.). Each exciter has its own gain knob and CV input; the resonator is shaped by Geometry, Brightness, Damping, Position, and Space (built-in reverb). External signals can be routed into the Exciter In jack to use the resonator as a stand-alone effect.

Features

• DIY redesign of Mutable Instruments Elements in 26HP
• Three exciter sources: Bow (continuous), Blow (breath/noise), Strike (impulse)
• Multi-model resonator (modal, string, tube, drum) selectable via Flow/Mallet
• Geometry, Brightness, Damping, Position controls per resonator
• Built-in reverb (Space) for ambient tones
• External Exciter In and Resonator In for use as a stereo physical-modeling effect
• Per-control CV attenuators on the most-modulated parameters
