Cinnamon is a Bastl Instruments state variable filter with simultaneous low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass outputs. It features self-oscillation, two character switches for tonal shaping, overdrive mode, V/Oct tracking, and a compact 5HP form factor.

Controls & Jacks (17)
- Cutoff Frequency — Sets the base cutoff frequency. The actual cutoff is determined by the sum of this knob and the two CV inputs.
- High-Pass Output — High-pass filter output (12 dB/octave, 2-pole).
- Low-Pass Output — Low-pass filter output (12 dB/octave, 2-pole).
- Input Level — Controls the gain of the input signal. When Drive is OFF, ranges from 0 to 2. When Drive is ON, ranges from 0 to 10 for overdrive effects.
- Left CV — Volt-per-octave CV input for cutoff frequency control.
- Audio Input — Audio signal input to the filter.
- Right CV — Secondary CV input for cutoff frequency modulation.
- Band-Pass Output — Band-pass filter output (6 dB/octave, 1-pole).
- Resonance — Emphasizes the cutoff frequency in the spectrum. At maximum, the filter self-oscillates at the cutoff frequency, functioning as an oscillato
- Character Lower — Character switch for resonance response. When ON, adds saw-tooth character to the resonance oscillation. May disrupt V/Oct tracking.
- Drive — Overdrive switch. OFF: Input gain 0-2. ON: Input gain 0-10 for overdrive effects. Dramatically affects output when combined with Character s
- FM — Attenuverter controlling the depth of FM modulation from the Right CV input applied to cutoff frequency
- Right CV Attenuator — Controls the intensity of modulation from the Right CV input. Fully counter-clockwise disables the Right CV input.
- Character Upper — Character switch for resonance response. When ON, adds edgy sharp character to the resonance oscillation. May disrupt V/Oct tracking.
- Cutoff — Sets the base cutoff frequency. The actual cutoff is determined by the sum of this knob and the two CV inputs.
- Attenuator — Controls the intensity of modulation from the Right CV input. Fully counter-clockwise disables the Right CV input.
- V/Oct Trimmer — Internal trimmer to calibrate volt-per-octave tracking of the filter
