Knit Rider is a 6-voice trigger and gate sequencer for Eurorack with 64 patterns, each containing 4 bars of 16 steps with 4 substeps per step, totaling 256 steps per pattern. It excels at creating complex polyrhythmic patterns, live performance sequencing, and driving multiple drum or modular voices simultaneously. Its real-time recording, mute, jump, and active step features give it a highly musical, improvisational character.

- Jump function for non-linear step repetition in live performance
- Master (internal) or Slave (external) clock sync
- Adjustable internal tempo via Tap, Tempo Up, and Tempo Down buttons (2 bpm increments)
- External clock divider: 1, 2, 4, or 8 substeps interpolated between clock pulses
- Mute/unmute per voice via Pattern button hold

- Step 10 — Activate trigger in step 10 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Step 6 — Activate trigger in step 6 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Step 11 — Activate trigger in step 11 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Voice C — Select voice C for editing. Hold with PATTERN button to mute/unmute.
- Step 7 — Activate trigger in step 7 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Bar 3 — Select/navigate to bar 3. Hold with STEP buttons to set substeps.
- Step 4 — Activate trigger in step 4 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Step 12 — Activate trigger in step 12 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Active Step — Enter Active Step Mode to deactivate/reactivate steps or set sequence length per voice.
- Voice A — Select voice A for editing. Hold with PATTERN button to mute/unmute.
- Bar 4 — Select/navigate to bar 4. Hold with STEP buttons to set substeps.
- Record — Start/stop real-time recording by tapping voice buttons. Quantization settings apply.
- Output E — Trigger/gate output for voice A (0-5V)
- Voice F — Select voice F for editing. Hold with PATTERN button to mute/unmute.
- Pattern — Hold to enter Pattern Change Mode. Press STEP buttons to load patterns. Use BAR buttons to navigate through 64 patterns.
- Output D — Trigger/gate output for voice C (0-5V)
- Step 13 — Activate trigger in step 13 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Output C — Trigger/gate output for voice D (0-5V)
- Step 2 — Activate trigger in step 2 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Output F — Trigger/gate output for voice F (0-5V)
- CLK In — External clock signal input for SLAVE mode synchronization
- Step 5 — Activate trigger in step 5 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Step 8 — Activate trigger in step 8 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Step 14 — Activate trigger in step 14 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- FN — Modifier button for accessing secondary functions: Trigger/Gate mode, Quantisation, Master/Slave, Copy, Paste, Clear, Save, Undo.
- Output B — Trigger/gate output for voice B (0-5V)
- Step 15 — Activate trigger in step 15 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Step 16 — Activate trigger in step 16 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Output A
- Tempo Up — Increase internal tempo by 2 BPM in MASTER mode.
- UP
- Bar 1 — Select/navigate to bar 1. Hold with STEP buttons to set substeps.
- LED A
- Jump — Hold and press a STEP button to repeat that step for non-linear playback.
- Voice B — Select voice B for editing. Hold with PATTERN button to mute/unmute.
- Step 9 — Activate trigger in step 9 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.

- Step 3 — Activate trigger in step 3 of current voice/bar. Hold with BAR buttons to set substeps.
- Voice LED — Trigger/gate output for voice E (0-5V)
- Play — Start/stop sequencer playback. In SLAVE mode, waits for external clock signal.
