Erica Synths Black Hole DSP2

24 custom stereo effects with live performance focus

16 HP Eurorack module

The Black Hole DSP II is a high-end stereo effects processor featuring 24 custom effects designed for live performance. Each effect has three CV-controllable parameters plus variable sampling rate for lo-fi bitcrushing, with full analog dry/wet control and patch memory for instant recall.

Features

  • 24 custom effects based on Spin FV-1 chip
  • Stereo inputs and outputs
  • 3 manually and CV controllable parameters per effect
  • CV controlled effect selection
  • Variable sampling rate for bitcrush effects
  • Effect settings memory and recall
  • Full analog dry/wet control
  • Audio clipping LED indicator
  • Left input normalled to right for mono operation

Controls & Jacks (20)

  • Dry/Wet 1— Reduces sampling rate from 48kHz down to 1kHz for lo-fi effects
  • Effect Select— Encoder to select between 24 custom effects including reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger, pitch shifter, phaser, and bit crush algorithms
  • Crush— First effect parameter - varies per algorithm, CV controllable
  • Parameter 3— Third effect parameter - varies per algorithm, CV controllable
  • IN LEVEL— Input level attenuator for the stereo audio input — controls signal level going into the DSP engine
  • CRUSH CV LVL— Attenuator for the Crush CV input — controls how much external CV modulates the sample rate reduction
  • Dry/Wet 2— Fully analog crossfade control between dry signal and processed effect
  • CRUSH CV— input cv
  • CV 3— input cv
  • CV 2— input cv
  • PATCH CV— input cv
  • CV 1— input cv
  • Audio In L— input audio
  • DRY/WET CV— input cv
  • Audio Out R— output audio
  • Audio In R— input audio
  • Audio Out L— output audio
  • Display— OLED parameter display
  • Parameter 1— LED indicating active preset number
  • Output R— Right audio output
