The Bubblesound I4I (VER2) is a 6HP combination ADSR envelope generator, VCA, and LFO module. The envelope generator is based on the Roland SH-101/M-140 transistor circuit, giving it a snappy, musical response. The EG feeds both a dedicated envelope output and a velocity-sensitive VCA section. The built-in LFO ranges from 10-second cycles up to 200Hz, with triangle and square outputs always active. When no gate is patched, the LFO square output is normalled to the gate input, causing the envelope to loop automatically. The audio VCA can be switched between envelope and velocity CV sources, with selectable exponential or linear response curves.

LFO LED — Indicates LFO activity or rate
TRI Output — Triangle waveform LFO output
SQR Output — Square waveform LFO output
ENV Output — Envelope CV output
Audio Out — Main audio output from the VCA
ENV INV Output — Inverted envelope CV output
VEL Out — Velocity CV output
Gate LED — Indicates gate activity
