Delptronics LDB-2e
Eight all-analog drum voices in 6HP — a TR-808 / TR-606 lineage rendered for Eurorack.
6 HP Eurorack module
The Delptronics LDB-2e Little Drummer Boy is a 6HP analog drum-voice module with eight independently-triggered drums (Open Hi-Hat, Closed Hi-Hat, Snare, Rim Shot, Wood Block, High Tom, Low Tom, Kick). Each voice is built from analog circuitry inspired by the Roland TR-606 and TR-808 — no samples — so the sounds breathe with the same warmth as the classics. Four voices (Open Hi-Hat, Snare, High Tom, Kick) have individual output jacks; the remaining four (Closed Hi-Hat, Rim Shot, Wood Block, Low Tom) are summed into a Mix Out via per-voice level knobs. Patching a cord into an individual output removes that drum from the mix. A built-in gate-to-trigger converter accepts any clock, gate, envelope or trigger shape on each input.
Features
- Eight all-analog drum voices in just 6HP — Open Hi-Hat, Closed Hi-Hat, Snare, Rim Shot, Wood Block, High Tom, Low Tom, Kick
- Sound is generated by analog circuitry (no samples), with the same circuit principles as the Roland TR-606 and TR-808
- Eight-voice polyphonic — every drum can fire simultaneously, including overlapping open + closed hi-hats
- Built-in gate-to-trigger converter: any clock, gate, envelope or trigger shape (any duty cycle) fires a drum
- Individual output jacks for Open Hi-Hat, Snare, High Tom and Kick (the four 'jack' voices)
- Per-voice level knobs for Closed Hi-Hat, Rim Shot, Wood Block and Low Tom (the four 'knob' voices)
- Master Mix Out jack with Mix Level knob — final stereo-mono kit output
- Patching an individual output jack auto-removes that voice from the Mix Out — no manual mute needed
- Open + Closed hi-hat sharing a circuit means a closed-hat trigger truncates the open hat for natural-feeling articulations
- 6HP wide, 40mm deep — skiff-friendly
- Power: 28 mA +12V, 20 mA -12V, no +5V required
- Optional LDB-2x expansion module (6HP, 30mm) adds CV control over pitch (every voice) and decay (kick + open hi-hat) via a ribbon cable
