The Doepfer A-110-1 is a standard analog voltage-controlled oscillator and one of the foundational modules in the A-100 system. It provides four simultaneous waveform outputs — sawtooth, triangle, pulse, and sine — with accurate 1V/Oct tracking, linear and exponential FM inputs, hard sync, and pulse width modulation. A straightforward, reliable VCO for building classic subtractive patches.

- PWM Level — Attenuator controlling the depth of voltage-controlled pulse width modulation
- CV2 — Secondary frequency modulation CV input with level attenuator
- CV1 Level — Attenuator for the CV1 input signal controlling frequency modulation depth
- CV2 Level — Attenuator for a secondary CV input signal controlling frequency modulation depth
- Tune — Fine-tuning control; approximately +/-1 semitone on older units, +/-1/2 octave on units from mid-2015 onward
- Rectangle Out — Rectangle/square waveform audio output at approximately 8Vpp with adjustable pulse width
- CV1 — Primary 1V/octave pitch CV input, normalled to Doepfer bus CV when no cable is inserted
- Sawtooth Out — Sawtooth waveform audio output at approximately 8Vpp
- Sine Out — Sine waveform audio output at approximately 10Vpp
- PWM CV — CV input for voltage-controlled pulse width modulation of the rectangle waveform
- Pulse Width — Manual pulse width adjustment for the rectangle/square waveform
- Triangle Out — Triangle waveform audio output at approximately 10Vpp
- Sync — Hard sync input that resets the oscillator to the beginning of its waveform cycle
