Doepfer A-150-8 Octal VC Switch
Eight independent voltage-controlled signal routing switches
12 HP Eurorack module
The A-150-8 Octal VC Switch contains eight separate voltage-controlled switches, each with a control voltage input, a common Out/Input, and two In/Outputs. The switches are bi-directional, allowing one input to be routed to either of two outputs or either of two inputs to one output, making it a powerful signal router for audio, CV, and modulation sources in a modular synthesizer context.
Features
- Eight independent voltage-controlled switches in a single module
- Each switch is bi-directional: two inputs to one output or one input to two outputs
- CV threshold at approximately 3.6V determines switch position
- LED indicators for each switch show which in/output is currently active
- Audio-frequency switching possible when CV is an audio-range signal
- Compatible with signals in the range -8V to +8V (Version 1) or -12V to +12V (Version 2)
- Modular signal routing for audio, CV, and modulation signals
- Can switch between modulation sources, filter characteristics, or waveform types
- Version 2 (from March 2004 onward) supports full A-100 voltage range -12V to +12V
