The A-180-2 Multiples is a 2HP passive multi-connector for the Doepfer A-100 system. It provides eight 3.5mm sockets that are factory-wired as two independent groups of four (sockets 1-4 and 5-8). Each group acts as a passive 1-to-3 splitter — patch one signal in and copy it to up to three destinations. An internal solder bridge can join the two groups into a single 1-to-7 multiple. Because it is passive, it works equally well for audio, CV, gate and trigger signals; there is no active buffering, so very long cable runs or heavy loads on a single source can introduce slight signal loss.
