The A-190-5 is a four-voice polyphonic MIDI/USB to CV/Gate interface that converts incoming MIDI data into up to 16 simultaneous control voltage outputs across four voices. Each voice provides a 1V/octave pitch CV, a gate signal, a velocity CV, and a freely assignable CV3 output, making it a powerful bridge between digital MIDI controllers or DAWs and analog modular synthesizers.

  • Left/Minus— Navigates backwards through parameters, decreases parameter values with acceleration on hold
  • Right/Plus— Navigates forwards through parameters, increases parameter values with acceleration on hold
  • Escape— USB input for MIDI data, USB Class Compliant, no custom driver required
  • Return— Gate signal output for Voice 1, controls envelope generators
  • Shift 1— Assignable controller/monophonic aftertouch output for Voice 2
  • Shift 2— Pitch control voltage output for Voice 1, 1V/octave standard for VCO control
  • Voice 1 CV Note— Velocity control voltage output for Voice 1, can control VCF cutoff or VCA level
  • Voice 1 CV2— DIN socket input for MIDI data
  • Voice 1 CV3— Pitch control voltage output for Voice 3, 1V/octave standard for VCO control
  • Voice 1 Gate— Loop-through output for most incoming MIDI data events
  • Voice 2 CV Note— Velocity control voltage output for Voice 3, can control VCF cutoff or VCA level
  • Voice 2 CV2— Assignable controller/monophonic aftertouch output for Voice 3
  • Voice 2 CV3— Gate signal output for Voice 4, controls envelope generators
