Doepfer A-190-5 Polyphonic USB/MIDI-CV
Four-voice polyphonic MIDI to CV gateway for modular
14 HP Eurorack module
The A-190-5 is a four-voice polyphonic MIDI/USB to CV/Gate interface that converts incoming MIDI data into up to 16 simultaneous control voltage outputs across four voices. Each voice provides a 1V/octave pitch CV, a gate signal, a velocity CV, and a freely assignable CV3 output, making it a powerful bridge between digital MIDI controllers or DAWs and analog modular synthesizers.
Features
- Four-voice MIDI/USB to CV/Gate conversion
- USB Class Compliant — no custom driver required
- MIDI DIN input and MIDI THRU output
- 1V/octave CV Note output per voice for VCO pitch control
- Gate output per voice for envelope generator triggering
- CV2 output per voice for MIDI velocity
- CV3 output per voice assignable to any MIDI controller number (0-127), monophonic aftertouch
- CV3 voltage range 0 to approximately +10 volts
- Six operating modes covering monophonic, unison, and polyphonic voice allocation
- Retrigger parameter with millisecond-resolution value (0-50ms) for legato/retrigger control
- Per-voice or global MIDI channel selection (channels 1-16)
- Per-voice or global reference note (Refnote) setting for 0V CV calibration
