The Epoch Modular Twin Peak MK2 is a dual bandpass filter with individually tunable resonant peaks, capable of smooth subtractive filtering, percussive pinging, and rich formant-like timbres. Its musical character is described as soft, smooth, and full — like a waterfall — with beautifully musical resonance that rewards both gentle filtering and aggressive self-oscillation. The MK2 revision adds increased output volume, improved resonance response, normalled CV routing, and attenuverters over the original's attenuators.

- CV A input normalled to CV B input for simultaneous control of both peaks from a single source
- Attenuverters (bipolar) on CV A and CV B cutoff inputs
- V/Oct input for pitch-tracking both filter peaks
- Depth (A+B) input for simultaneously modulating both cutoffs
- Resonance CV input for voltage-controlled resonance
- Dual audio inputs with Mix Crossfader for blending between two sources
- Excellent percussive pinging behaviour at high resonance
- Improved output volume compared to MK1
- Improved resonance response compared to MK1
- MK2 circuit boards are green (MK1 had blue boards) for visual differentiation
- Front panel identical between MK1 and MK2
Controls & Jacks (16)
- LVL In/Fade — Controls input signal level and crossfades between Input 1 and Input 2 audio sources.
- Curve — Morphs the filter response between lowpass (LP) and bandpass (BP) characteristics.
- Dual Mod — Modulates both Peak A and Peak B frequencies simultaneously. Sweeps both filter peaks together for parallel modulation effects.
- 1V/OCT — 1 volt per octave pitch tracking input for both Peak A and Peak B filters.
- CV Res — CV modulation input for resonance/ping of both filters.
- CV Mod B — CV modulation input for Peak B frequency. Depth and polarity set by Peak B Mod attenuverter.
- Input 1 — First audio input to the dual filter.
- CV Mod A — CV modulation input for Peak A frequency. Depth and polarity set by Peak A Mod attenuverter.
- CV D Mod — CV input for Dual Mod parameter. Voltage controls the depth of simultaneous modulation of both peak frequencies.
- Peak A Mod — Attenuverter for CV modulation of Peak A frequency. Controls depth and polarity of CV Mod A input.
- Input 2 — Second audio input to the dual filter. Crossfaded with Input 1 via LVL In/Fade knob.
- FLTR Out — Main filtered audio output combining both resonant peaks.
- Res/Ping — Controls resonance of both filters simultaneously. At high settings, filters self-oscillate and can be pinged with triggers for tuned percus
- Peak B Mod — Attenuverter for CV modulation of Peak B frequency. Controls depth and polarity of CV Mod B input.
- Peak A — Sets the cutoff frequency of the first resonant peak filter.
- Peak B — Sets the cutoff frequency of the second resonant peak filter.
