The Erica Synths Black Octasource is a high-end LFO module featuring 8 simultaneous outputs with phase shifting and 8 waveforms including morphing between them. In Single mode, one waveform is spread across all 8 outputs each phase-shifted by 45 degrees, while in Multi mode all 8 different waveforms appear simultaneously, making it a rich modulation powerhouse for complex, evolving patches.

- CV-controlled waveform selection via Wave CV input
- CV-controlled phase shift via Phase CV input
- CV-controlled rate via FM CV input with FM Level attenuator
- LFO rate range: 0.03Hz to 30Hz
- External clock synchronization via Sync input
- LFO freeze function at Rate knob 12 o'clock position
- Phase shift direction changes with Rate knob rotation direction (CW = CW phase shift, CCW = CCW phase shift)

- Output 1 LED — Bipolar output level indicator for Output 1. Blinks in two colors (bipolar mode) or one color (unipolar mode).

- FM Level — Attenuator for LFO FM CV input to modulate the LFO rate.
- Output 4 — Fourth LFO output

- Output 6 LED — Bipolar output level indicator for Output 6. Blinks in two colors (bipolar mode) or one color (unipolar mode).

- Rate — Controls LFO frequency manually from 0.03Hz to 30Hz. 12 o'clock position freezes all CVs. Clockwise increases frequency with CW phase shift;

- Phase CV — Attenuator for phase shift control via CV input. Controls phase shift within a 45-degree window for each output.
