The Erica Synths Black Octasource is a high-end LFO module featuring 8 simultaneous outputs with phase shifting and 8 waveforms including morphing between them. In Single mode, one waveform is spread across all 8 outputs each phase-shifted by 45 degrees, while in Multi mode all 8 different waveforms appear simultaneously, making it a rich modulation powerhouse for complex, evolving patches.

  • CV-controlled waveform selection via Wave CV input
  • CV-controlled phase shift via Phase CV input
  • CV-controlled rate via FM CV input with FM Level attenuator
  • LFO rate range: 0.03Hz to 30Hz
  • External clock synchronization via Sync input
  • LFO freeze function at Rate knob 12 o'clock position
  • Phase shift direction changes with Rate knob rotation direction (CW = CW phase shift, CCW = CCW phase shift)

  • Rate— Controls LFO frequency manually from 0.03Hz to 30Hz. 12 o'clock position freezes all CVs. Clockwise increases frequency with CW phase shift;

  • Phase CV— Attenuator for phase shift control via CV input. Controls phase shift within a 45-degree window for each output.
