The Erica Synths Black Sequencer is a feature-rich 4-channel CV/Gate/Modulation sequencer for Eurorack, capable of up to 64-step patterns with independent track lengths, time divisions, and a wealth of per-step parameters including probability, ratcheting, microtiming, and arpeggiator. It functions as a complete compositional hub with MIDI I/O, a built-in quantiser, song mode, and multiple modulation output types ranging from stepped voltages to full ADSR envelopes and LFOs, making it equally suited for structured composition and experimental live performance.

- Up to 64 steps per pattern with per-channel configurable track length (2-64 steps)
- 16 banks of 16 patterns per project stored on SD card
- Song mode: chain up to 64 patterns with up to 32 repeats each, 16 songs per bank
- Per-step note, glide, gate length, gate probability, ratchet, repeat, microtiming, and modulation
- Independent clock divisions and multiplications per track
- Built-in quantiser with preset and custom microtonal scales
- 8 modulation output modes: stepped CV, CV note, decay envelope, ASR envelope, ADSR envelope, LFO, stepped LFO, trigger
- Arpeggiator per step with up/down direction
- Adjustable shuffle per track with manual pattern design
- Pattern linking for sequential looped playback
- MAGIC button for scale-aware randomisation of any parameter
