The Erica Synths Black Sequencer is a 4-channel CV/Gate/Modulation sequencer with up to 64 steps per pattern, independent track time divisions, built-in quantizer, and comprehensive per-step parameter control including probability, ratcheting, repeats, and arpeggiator. It features MIDI in/out, CV/Gate recording, song mode, and a modulation output configurable as envelopes, LFOs, or triggers, making it a full-featured master controller for complex modular performances. Its musical character is deeply expressive and performance-oriented, rewarding both careful programming and spontaneous live manipulation.
