The Erica Synths Black Stereo Delay 2 is a high-fidelity stereo delay module based on a custom DSP engine, offering Tape, BBD, and Digital delay emulations with three routing modes each. It features rich stereo imaging controls, CV control over most parameters, and 10 saveable presets, making it a versatile and performance-ready effect at the heart of any Eurorack system.

- Delay time range from 3ms to 3000ms
- Tap tempo input and manual tap button for delay time setting
- Clock synchronization via SYNC input
- Clock divider/multiplier in SYNC mode (divide/multiply by 2, 3, 4, 5, 8)
- 10 saveable and recallable preset patches
- CV control over delay time, feedback, tone, dry/wet mix, and preset selection
- Adjustable stereo delay spread via TONE/SPRD knob with SHIFT held
- TONE CV input for filter control over repeats
- FBK CV input for feedback modulation
- DRY/WET CV input for mix automation
Controls & Jacks (41)
- TIME — Sets delay time from 3ms to 3s manually. In SYNC mode, acts as clock divider/multiplier. Used for preset slot selection when SHIFT is held.
- TIME CV Attenuator — Attenuates the TIME CV input signal
- L OUT — Left audio output
- SHIFT — Hold to access preset save/recall functionality and adjust stereo spread
- TIME CV — CV input for delay time. Added to TIME knob position.
- L (MONO) IN — Left/mono audio input. Mono signal patched here is automatically routed to right input.
- Preset LED 1 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- TONE/SPRD — Controls the tone of delayed signals or the spread of delay taps across stereo field
- TONE CV — CV input for tone. Added to TONE/SPRD knob position.
- PATCH CV — CV input for preset patch selection among 10 presets
- R IN — Right audio input
- SYNC — Clock input for synchronizing delay time to external clock
- Preset LED 3 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- Preset LED 4 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- Preset LED 2 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- Preset LED 5 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- FBK CV — CV input for feedback. Added to FEEDBACK knob position.
- DRY/WET CV — CV input for dry/wet mix
- FEEDBACK — Adjusts feedback level. Full CW causes self-oscillation.
- R OUT — Right audio output
- Preset LED 6 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- Preset LED 7 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- Preset LED 8 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- DRY / WET — Adjusts the dry/wet balance of the delayed signal
- Preset LED 9 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- Preset LED 10 — Preset slot indicator and audio level display
- TAP / SAVE — Tap tempo button for setting delay time; hold for save function
- MODE — Selects one of three modes for each delay type: Stereo, CrossFeed, or Ping-pong
- TAP — Tap button for tapping in delay time and saving patches. Hold for 1 second with SHIFT to save preset.

- TYPE — Selects among Tape, BBD, and Digital delay types
