Hi-fi stereo DSP reverb built on Tape and BBD delay lines, with freeze, stereo spin, and 10 savable presets
12 HP Eurorack module
The Black Stereo Reverb is a hi-fi stereo effects module built on Erica Synths' custom DSP engine, with algorithms developed in collaboration with Dutch effects company 112dB. The reverb is built on selectable Tape, BBD, or Dirty BBD delay lines (Type switch), each with Room, Hall, and Cathedral modes (Mode switch) that set different early/late delay mixes. The Size knob scales the space from small rooms to megastructures, Feedback goes all the way to self-oscillation, and Tone/Spn shapes the tone of the reflections — or, with Shift held, spins them across the stereo field. Freeze captures the reflected audio as a loop, either from the panel button or a gate at the Freeze jack, and while frozen the Size knob and 1V/oct-calibrated Size CV input set the loop's playback frequency. Ten preset patches can be saved and recalled from the panel or switched by CV at the Patch jack. The dry/wet circuit is fully analog.
