Erica Synths Pico VCA
Two transparent linear VCAs in three HP
3 HP Eurorack module
The Erica Synths Pico Dual VCA is a compact 3HP linear voltage controlled amplifier based on the LM13700 chip, offering two independent VCAs or a stereo/dual configuration sharing a single CV source. It is a reliable utility module suited for shaping amplitude envelopes, creating stereo outputs from a mono signal, or ducking and gating audio in a modular patch.
Features
- Two independent LM13700-based linear VCAs in 3HP
- VCA 1 input normalled to VCA 2 input when VCA 2 input is unpatched
- Jumper-configurable CV addressing: VCA 2 CV can copy VCA 1 CV or be fully independent
- 0V CV gives -80dB attenuation; +10V CV gives 0dB attenuation
- Diode protection against input and output overvoltage
- ROHS compliant construction
Controls & Jacks (6)
- VCA 1 Input — Audio signal input for the first VCA
- VCA 1 CV — Audio output of the first VCA
- VCA 1 Output — Control voltage input for the first VCA. 0V gives -80dB attenuation, +10V gives 0dB attenuation
- VCA 2 Input — Control voltage input for the second VCA. Configurable via jumper
- VCA 2 CV — Audio signal input for the second VCA. Normalled to VCA 1 input if unpatched
- VCA 2 Output — Audio output of the second VCA
