Erica Synths Pico VCF
Polivoks-inspired gritty filter in 3HP
3 HP Eurorack module
The Pico VCF1 is a compact 3HP voltage-controlled filter inspired by the legendary Polivoks synthesizer, offering lowpass and bandpass modes with a distinctly aggressive, Soviet-era character. Its rare Russian operational amplifiers give it a raw, gritty sonic personality that stands apart from more clinical filter designs. At maximum resonance, the filter self-oscillates, turning it into a sine wave oscillator source.
Features
- Polivoks-inspired filter character using rare Russian operational amplifiers
- Lowpass and bandpass filter modes via toggle switch
- Self-oscillation at maximum resonance
- CV input with dedicated attenuator knob for cutoff modulation
- 3HP compact Eurorack format
Controls & Jacks (7)
- IN — Audio input
- Resonance — Controls the amount of resonance/feedback. At maximum, the filter self-oscillates.
- CV IN Attenuator — Attenuator for the CV input signal, controlling how much the CV affects the cutoff frequency
- Cutoff — Controls the filter cutoff frequency
- OUT — Filtered audio output
- CV IN — Control voltage input for modulating cutoff frequency
- LP/BP Mode — Selects between lowpass and bandpass filter modes
