Error Instruments Plasma Drive
Xenon-tube high-voltage distortion with octave-tracking sub generator
16 HP Eurorack module
Plasma Drive is a 16HP collaboration between Error Instruments and Gamechanger Audio that transforms your modular signal into a series of continuous high-voltage discharges across a xenon-filled tube, producing aggressive distortion with visible plasma arcs. The audio signal is amplified to several hundred volts and drives the gas tube, where the resulting discharge is picked up and routed through a built-in tone control section (Bass and Treble) and Dry/Wet mix. A unique tracking pitch detector adds octave-up or octave-down sub-oscillator triggered by gate inputs.
