The NTX-8CV is a 4HP multi-purpose interface module from Expert Sleepers that serves three distinct roles. First, it is a high-quality USB MIDI-to-CV converter based on the architecture of the acclaimed FH-2 'factotum', supporting both USB device mode (computer/tablet) and USB host mode (plug a class-compliant MIDI controller directly in). Second, it acts as a USB Audio Class compliant interface providing 8 channels of DC-coupled audio or CV outputs — compatible with Silent Way, CV Tools, Bitwig Studio and any other software that can stream audio via USB. Third, and most relevant for disting NT owners, it connects via a 10-way ribbon cable to a disting NT and adds 8 additional CV outputs that disting NT algorithms can address natively; additional NTX-8CV units can be daisy-chained for up to 64 extra outputs. The output specs match the disting NT exactly.
