WMD Fracture
Multi-particle percussion from claps to chaos
8 HP Eurorack module
Fracture is a multi-particle percussion synthesizer that transforms traditional analog clap circuits into granular synthesis madness. Using a pseudorandom particle oscillator triggering a 22-voice sample player, it creates bursts of micro-samples that range from classic drum machine claps to full audience applause and beyond. The result is an intuitive yet wild percussion engine that brings systems to life with ear-tickling transient textures.

Controls & Jacks (22)
- Status — LED showing the current trigger/decay status.
- Trigger — Manual trigger button for firing drum/percussion sounds.
- Surface 1 — 23 particle types: drum sticks, ping pong balls, toggle switches, claps, snaps, and more
- Decay — Increases pitch and panning variance of particles from center
- Freq — Controls spectrum and/or frequency depending on Punch switch mode
- Spread — Length of particle burst. With INF switch on, directly controls the parameter the envelope would have modulated
- Tail — 3-position switch controlling how decay envelope shapes the burst
- Punch — 3-position switch selecting filter/pitch mode
- Reverb — Room or Hall reverb amount. Modulate after triggering for late reverb tails
- Density — Rate of particle production oscillator. More particles at higher settings
- CV Density — input cv
- CV Spread — input cv
- CV Freq — input cv
- CV Reverb — input cv
- Out R — output audio
- Pitch — input cv
- Surface CV — input cv
- CV Decay — input cv
- INF — input gate
- Trig — input trigger
- Tick — input trigger
- Out L — output audio
