Grids is a topographic drum sequencer that generates rhythmic patterns using a compressed representation of drum variations. It provides three drum channels (BD, SD, HH) with pattern morphing capabilities controlled by X/Y coordinates and density parameters.

Controls & Jacks (23)
- Tempo — Internal clock tempo control (40-240 BPM)
- CLOCK — External clock input; overrides internal tempo
- MAP X — Navigates the topographic map on the X axis to select rhythmic patterns
- MAP Y — Navigates the topographic map on the Y axis to select rhythmic patterns
- RESET — Reset input; returns pattern to step 1
- TAP — Tap tempo button (configurable as reset)
- SD — Controls snare drum hit density and fill amount
- BD — Controls bass drum hit density and fill amount
- MAP X CV In — CV input for Map X parameter modulation
- LED 3 — Indicates clock/trigger activity
- HH — Controls hi-hat hit density and fill amount
- MAP Y CV In — CV input for Map Y parameter modulation
- BD Fill CV In — CV input for BD density modulation
- SD Fill CV In — CV input for SD density modulation
- HH Fill CV In — CV input for HH density modulation
- BD Trig — CV input for Chaos parameter modulation
- SD Trig — CV input for Fill parameter modulation
- HH Trig — Bass drum trigger output
- Chaos CV In — Snare drum trigger output
- CHAOS — Pattern randomization control (or swing for internal clock)
- BD Acc — Hi-hat trigger output
- SD Acc — Accent output; fires on emphasized beats
- HH Acc — Combined trigger output (logical OR of all channels)
