Instruo dhà
Compact stereo two-channel mixer with built-in VCA
4 HP Eurorack module
The Instruo dhà is a 4HP stereo mixer utility module with two input channels summed to a stereo output bus. Channel 1 features a full stereo VCA with bipolar CV control, attenuverter, and LED indicator. Channel 2 provides a simple level-controlled stereo input. Both channels use audio-tapered potentiometers. Rear stereo I/O jacks allow expansion by chaining multiple dhà units or connecting to other Instruo stereo modules like càrn and cuïr. A rear normalling switch controls how the front panel outputs interact with the rear stereo output.
Features
- Stereo two-channel mixer in 4HP
- Channel 1 stereo two-quadrant VCA with bipolar CV input and attenuverter
- Audio-tapered level potentiometers on both channels
- Bi-colour LED CV indicator (white positive, amber negative)
- Left input normalled to right on both channels for mono-to-stereo operation
- Rear stereo I/O jacks for expansion with dhà, càrn, and cuïr modules
- Rear normalling switch: Half Normalled or Normalled output routing
- Rear stereo input summed at unity gain with 100K ohm impedance
- Reverse polarity power protection
- 27mm depth for shallow cases
Controls & Jacks (14)
- Ch 1 Level — Sets the amplitude of the stereo VCA. Clockwise increases amplitude.
- Ch 1 Level CV Attenuverter — Scales and/or inverts CV at the Level CV input. Center position is zero modulation depth.
- Ch 1 Level CV — Indicates amplitude and polarity of the CV signal. White for positive, amber for negative.
- Ch 1 Level CV In — Bipolar CV input for the Level parameter. Scaled by the attenuverter and summed with the Level knob.
- Ch 1 VCA In L — Left audio input to the stereo VCA. Normalled to the right input when no cable is connected to the right.
- Ch 1 VCA In R — Right audio input to the stereo VCA.
- Mixer Out L — Left channel summed output of Channel 1 and Channel 2.
- Mixer Out R — Right channel summed output of Channel 1 and Channel 2.
- Ch 2 In L — Left audio input to the Channel 2 mixer. Normalled to the right input when no cable is connected to the right.
- Ch 2 In R — Right audio input to the Channel 2 mixer.
- Ch 2 Level — Sets the amplitude of signals at the Channel 2 inputs. Audio-tapered potentiometer.
- Normalling — Sets normalling behavior for the Outputs to the Stereo Output Back Jack. Up = Half Normalled (front disconnects rear), Down = Normalled (fro
- Stereo Input Back — Rear stereo input for chaining additional dhà, càrn, or cuïr modules. 100K ohm impedance, summed at unity gain with the stereo mix.
- Stereo Output Back — Rear stereo output for connecting to secondary modules. Normalling behavior set by the Normalling switch.
