Instruo Scion
Quad biofeedback-to-CV generator with quantization modes
14 HP Eurorack module
The Scion is a biofeedback sensor built into a quad random voltage generator, based on the MidiSprout by Datagarden. It translates tiny fluctuations in electrical conductance from organic material (plants, human skin) into four channels of musically useful CV and gate signals. The module features a capacitive Leaf electrode, an analogue biofeedback sensor circuit, per-channel slew and attenuation, three quantization modes (semitone, random, harmonic overtone), and a clocked sample-and-hold mode. The tree-shaped LED display provides visual feedback of sensor activity and per-channel output state.
