The Instruō tágh is a compact hybrid modulation source combining analogue sample and hold circuitry with six digital random voltage algorithms. It provides white noise, stepped random voltages, chaotic modulation, interpolating LFOs, probability-synced waveforms, and downsampled LFOs. A unique phase-adaptive tap tempo system with external clock input makes the random outputs musically relevant. Built-in offset and attenuation controls allow fine-tuning of the output without external utilities.

Controls & Jacks (12)
- S&H In — Full scale analogue input to the sample and hold. Connecting a signal breaks the internal white noise generator normalling.
- S&H Out — Full scale analogue output from the sample and hold. Range: 10Vpp.
- White Noise Out — White noise generator output. Normalled to the Sample and Hold input.
- RND Out — Full scale random voltage output from the selected digital algorithm. Range: 10Vpp.
- Random Mode — Three-position toggle that determines the behavior of the Clock Output and the effect of the Random Slider. Down: algorithm parameter only.
- CLK Out — Generates either steady trigger signals or rhythmically-relevant random trigger signals based on the Random Mode switch and Random Slider po
- Random — Changes a specific parameter of the selected random algorithm and/or the probabilistic selection of random trigger signals at the Clock Outp
- CLK/CV — Three-position switch. Down: internal clock for S&H, CLK/CV Input becomes CV for random algorithm. Up: S&H no longer clocked by tágh, CLK/CV
- CLK/CV In — External clock input for the sample and hold or control voltage input for the random algorithm, depending on the CLK/CV switch position.
- CLK In — Gate/trigger input for the precise tempo of tágh. Variable time between clock signals produces smooth musical tempo transitions.
- Tap Tempo — Manual control for setting the tempo. Press twice to calculate a new tempo. Blinks white at steady tempos, amber while transitioning, off-wh
- Shift — Access button for switching random algorithms and various edit features. Hold Shift + press Tap Tempo to cycle algorithms. Hold Shift alone
