Instruo Ts-L
Compact analogue VCO with wavefolding and complex PWM
6 HP Eurorack module
The Instruo Ts-L is a fully analogue triangle-core voltage controlled oscillator delivering simultaneous Square/Sub, Triangle, Sine, PWM, and Wavefold outputs in 6HP. Its rich feature set includes wavefolding, complex PWM waveshaping with crossfade between split and stepped triangle waveforms, linear and exponential FM, and soft synchronisation, making it equally capable as a dense audio source or a versatile LFO-style modulation generator.

Controls & Jacks (20)
- Tuning — LED indicator for oscillator tuning status.
- Coarse — Controls the fundamental frequency of the oscillator. Turning anticlockwise decreases frequency, clockwise increases frequency.
- 1V/Oct Input — Bipolar control voltage input calibrated to 1 volt per Octave. Traditionally used for pitch control from keyboard or sequencer.
- Fine — Provides minute control of the oscillator's fundamental frequency relative to the Coarse knob setting. Affects the pitch of all waveforms.
- Sync Input — Input for soft synchronisation and phase locking functionality.
- LIN/EXP — Selects FM response curve. Left position applies linear scaling, right position applies exponential scaling (approximately 1V/Octave when FM
- FM Input — Bipolar control voltage input for frequency modulation with selectable linear or exponential response.
- FM Attenuator — Determines the depth of frequency modulation applied to the fundamental frequency. Anticlockwise decreases depth, clockwise increases depth.
- Sub — Determines the octave of the square waveform. Right position sets square one octave below fundamental, left position sets two octaves below
- Square Output — Square waveform output with octave selection via Sub Toggle.
- Triangle Output — Triangle waveform output.
- Sine Output — Sine waveform output.
- PWM Output — Pulse width modulation waveform output, morphing between split and stepped triangle waveforms.
- Wavefold Output — Final wavefolded output determined by Wavefold Depth and Symmetry Bias parameters.
- PWM CV Input — Bipolar control voltage input for PWM parameter. Input range: +/-5V.
- Wavefold CV Input — Unipolar positive control voltage input for wavefolding.
- PWM CV Attenuverter — Attenuverter that scales the PWM CV Input signal before it is summed with the PWM knob position.
- Wavefold Depth — Controls the amount of wavefolding applied to the wavefold output. Also serves as attenuverter for Wavefold CV Input. Fully anticlockwise pr
- PWM — Controls the width of the pulses for the PWM waveform. Anticlockwise decreases pulse width, clockwise increases pulse width.
- Symmetry Bias — Controls DC offset amount that shapes the sine waveform used by the wavefolder, affecting the harmonic makeup of the wavefolded output.
