The Audio I/O 1U is a dual-channel balanced line interface that bridges professional studio-level signals (+4 dBu) with Eurorack modular-level signals (10 Vpp). It provides gain-controlled inputs for bringing external audio into the modular and scaled outputs for sending modular audio to mixers, DAWs, and effects units. The module is clean and transparent in character, designed for utility rather than color.
Features
- 2 x balanced TRS 1/4" to Eurorack modular level input paths
- 2 x Eurorack modular level to balanced TRS 1/4" output paths
- 4 x two-stage LED VU meters to monitor all inputs and outputs simultaneously
- THATCorp balanced line driver and receiver ICs
- Input path has up to 20 dB of gain; 0 dB = 10 Vpp nominal Eurorack level
- Output path steps nominal Eurorack level (10 Vpp) down to +4 dBu with up to +6 dB gain
- Connects to Audio I/O Jacks 1U module or Intellijel 7U case via included ribbon cable
- LINE OUT (L) is normalled to LINE OUT (R) for mono-to-stereo convenience
- Supports unbalanced TS cables as well as balanced TRS at inputs
- Output supports both professional balanced +4 dBu and consumer unbalanced -10 dBV gear
- Audio I/O Jacks 1U module is fully passive (0 mA current draw)
- Compatible with Intellijel 4U and 7U case 1U rows
