Buff Mult 1U is a 14HP Intellijel 1U-format dual buffered multiple. Each section is a 1×4 buffered mult: a single audio or CV input is electronically copied to four output jacks via a unity-gain buffer, isolating the source from the loads. The top input is normalled to the bottom input, so when the bottom is unpatched the module behaves as a single 1×8 buffered mult. Buffering preserves voltage accuracy critical for 1V/Oct pitch CV distribution and protects the source from output shorts.

- Input 2 — Bottom section input. Audio or CV signal that gets buffered and copied to the four bottom outputs. Normalled from Input 1 — patching here br
- Output 2A — Buffered copy of Input 2 (or Input 1 if Input 2 is unpatched).
- Output 2B — Buffered copy of Input 2 (or Input 1 if Input 2 is unpatched).
- Output 2C — Buffered copy of Input 2 (or Input 1 if Input 2 is unpatched).
- Output 2D — Buffered copy of Input 2 (or Input 1 if Input 2 is unpatched).
