A passive dual OR/gate combiner: two independent 3-input, 1-output OR circuits that can also combine six inputs into one output.

Features

  • Combines triggers, gates, and other logic-voltage sources into an OR output.
  • The top section is normalled to the bottom section, supporting either two 3-to-1 combiners or one 6-to-1 combiner.
  • Passive design consumes no power and requires no ribbon cable.
  • Remember: passive diode logic produces an approximately 0.7 V input-to-output voltage drop; boost the output if absolute voltage values matter.

Controls & Jacks (8)

  • Upper Input 2— Second signal input for the upper three-input OR circuit.
  • Upper Input 3— Third signal input for the upper three-input OR circuit.
  • Upper Input 1— First signal input for the upper three-input OR circuit.
  • Lower Input 3— Third signal input for the lower three-input OR circuit.
  • Lower Input 1— First signal input for the lower OR circuit; receives the normalled Upper Output when the upper output jack is unpatched.
  • Lower Input 2— Second signal input for the lower three-input OR circuit.
  • Upper Output— Logical OR output of the three upper inputs; normalled to Lower Input 1 when this jack is unpatched.
  • Lower Output— Logical OR output of the lower inputs, or of all six inputs when the Upper Output is unpatched.
