Pianophonic is an 8-voice polyphonic wavetable synthesizer and sampler in 12HP, inspired by the piano's string-and-hammer mechanism combined with 90s digital keyboard aesthetics. Each voice has 3 wavetable oscillators (Left, Middle, Right in stereo spread) plus a hammer sample playback engine for percussive attack transients. 16 sound banks on a user-loadable microSD card provide acoustic pianos, electric pianos, guitars, tuned percussion, vocal sounds, and synthesizer waveforms. Features a bipolar DJ-style filter, dynamics compression/overdrive, built-in stereo reverb, 8-slot chord memory, and two reassignable CV inputs. All parameters accessible via Shift secondary functions with no menus.
