XAOC Devices Leibniz
8-bit binary subsystem for digital signal manipulation
8 HP Eurorack module
The Xaoc Devices Leibniz Binary Subsystem is a digital utility module that provides a direct interface to the binary data bus used by compatible Xaoc modules (like Drezno, Lipsk, and others). It exposes 8-bit digital signals as individual gate outputs and inputs, enabling bit-level manipulation of audio and CV signals for creative digital signal processing within the analog Eurorack environment.
Features
- 8-bit binary signal interface
- Individual bit-level gate inputs and outputs
- Compatible with Xaoc Devices digital bus ecosystem
- Enables bit manipulation, bit crushing, and digital effects
- Gate pattern generation from binary counting
- Works with Drezno, Lipsk, and other Xaoc binary modules
Controls & Jacks (12)
- FM — Frequency modulation input. External CV modulates the oscillator pitch.
- Pitch CV — 1V/octave pitch input. Tracks pitch accurately for melodic use.
- Hard Sync — Hard sync input. Resets the oscillator phase on each rising edge for classic sync sounds.
- Bit Inputs 1-8 — 8-bit digital input bus. Receives binary data from other Leibniz modules to modulate the oscillator waveform.
- Bit Outputs 1-8 — 8-bit digital output bus. Sends the oscillator's binary state to other Leibniz modules for cross-modulation.
- Oct Down — Decreases the oscillator pitch by one octave. Press to step down through octave ranges.
- LBZ Link — Leibniz bus link connector. Connects to other Leibniz system modules for binary data exchange.
- Oct Select — CV input for octave selection. Voltage selects the active octave range.
- Oct Up — Increases the oscillator pitch by one octave. Press to step up through octave ranges.
- Saw Out — Sawtooth waveform output. Clean analog-style saw wave.
- LBZ Wave Out — Leibniz waveform output. Complex waveform generated by the binary state of the Leibniz bus inputs.
- Square Out — Square waveform output. Clean square/pulse wave.
