Strymon Magneto
Stereo multi-head tape delay and looper workstation
28 HP Eurorack module
Magneto by Strymon is a stereo tape delay emulation workstation for Eurorack, featuring four independent playback heads, a spring reverb, and a looper. Inspired by classic multi-head tape echo machines, Magneto models the warm saturation, wow and flutter, and mechanical character of vintage tape delays while adding modern CV control over every parameter. Each of the four heads has adjustable delay time, level, pan, and feedback. The spring reverb can be placed pre- or post-delay for different spatial effects. The integrated looper captures and overdubs loops with tape-style degradation. Clock sync input locks delay times to an external tempo.

Controls & Jacks (46)
- WET — Controls the output level of the delayed/wet signal
- DRY — Controls the output level of the dry/unprocessed signal
- Sample — Enables Sample/Loop mode for recording and playing back loops
- Rec Lvl — Controls the recording level into the tape delay buffer
- Spring — Controls the level of the built-in spring reverb effect
- Heads — Controls the spacing between the 4 delay heads
- Pan — Controls stereo panning width of the delay heads
- Speed/Pitch — Controls tape speed and delay time. Also changes pitch unless Splice mode is active
- Low Cut — High-pass filter on the delay feedback path — removes low frequencies from repeats
- Repeats — Controls feedback amount — number of delay repeats. Fully clockwise enters infinite repeat/freeze
- CLK 4 Out — Clock division output 4 — derived from the delay time
- Wow & Flutter — Adds tape wow and flutter pitch modulation to simulate mechanical tape transport

- Mix CV In — CV input for modulating the dry/wet mix balance
- Splice — Enables Splice mode — pitch stays constant when changing speed, like splicing tape
- Head 1 — Controls level and on/off state for delay head 1
- Crinkle — Adds random pitch and timing variations simulating physically crinkled tape
- Repeats CV In — CV input for modulating the feedback/repeats amount
