Touch-driven sequential brain for Pressure Points
4 HP Eurorack module
BRAINS is a clocked sequential controller designed to work with Make Noise PRESSURE POINTS, transforming it into a 4-step or 8-step 3-channel analog sequencer. It provides binary control over direction, run/stop, and reset, while adding touch-quantization and gate logic to create expressive, touch-driven melodic and rhythmic sequences.
Features
- Connects to 1 or 2 PRESSURE POINTS modules via internal ribbon cable
- 4-step sequencer with single PRESSURE POINTS, 8-step with two
- Clock Input advances sequence on rising edge of at least 1V
- Reset Input jumps to last touched stage on rising edge of at least 1V
- Run Input gates sequencer on/off with voltage threshold of 1V
- Direction Input selects forward or backward counting
- T-GATE Output generates 10V gate whenever connected PRESSURE POINTS is touched
- T-CLK Input quantizes touch selection to clock; normaled high
- Onboard jumper selects 1PP or 2PP mode
- OR logic on gate outputs; combinable with passive multiples or stackable cables
- 3-channel analog sequencer output via PRESSURE POINTS tuned voltages
