The RxMx is a Vactrol-based 6-input, 3-output macro low pass gate and signal crossfader based on Grant Richter’s circuit idea. Six low pass gate channels share a single Level and Strike control; the Channel knob selects which channel is the focal point while Radiate turns on adjacent channels, giving voltage control over the complexity of the mix from one to six active sources. Because it uses LPGs for level control, the RxMx excels at smooth dynamic blending, scanning, and percussive animation of related or unrelated signals — modular automatic re-mixing (mØlanger automatique) and "exquisite corpse" composition.

- Channel control selects the focal LPG (0–6); Radiate activates adjacent channels
- Voltage control of channel selection (two CV inputs), Radiate, and Level
- Shared Level and Strike controls drive the selected/radiated channels
- Strike input for Optomix-style percussive plucks (organic Vactrol decay)
- Three outputs with normalling for 1×6, 3×2, or 1×4 + 2×2 routing
- Aux A and Aux C direct inputs (bypass the LPG) for chaining mixers
- Six Channel Drive Indicator LEDs for visual feedback on scanning/blending
- Per-channel input attenuators before each LPG
- Rear Expansion header normalls DPO (6 waveforms) or FXDf (6 bands)
- Smooth dynamic blending and crossfading of related or unrelated signals
- 20HP, low power (35mA +12V / 30mA -12V)
