Mannequins Cold Mac
Patch surveillance utility with macro control
8 HP Eurorack module
Cold Mac is a multi-function utility module offering crossfading, analog logic, wave shaping, and envelope following in 8HP. Its unique 'patch surveillance' design uses a single Survey control to simultaneously modulate multiple processing circuits, creating complex macro-control possibilities.
Features
- 8 processing circuits in 8HP
- Survey macro control
- Extensive normalization network
- Patch surveillance design
- Audio and CV processing
- Self-patching capabilities
Controls & Jacks (21)
- AND Output — AND logic output
- SLOPE — Input signal for the Slope integrator/differentiator channel. Normaled to SURVEY.
- OR Output — OR logic output
- LEFT — Input signal for left channel of crossfading/panning circuit
- FADE Output — Crossfade output
- AND 1 — First input for the AND minimum/logic channel. Normaled to SURVEY.
- FADE — Control voltage for crossfading/panning, normaled to SURVEY
- IF Input — Conditional routing input
- RIGHT — Input signal for right channel of crossfading/panning circuit
- CREASE Output — Crease/wavefolder output
- CREASE — Input signal for the Crease wavefolder channel. Normaled to SURVEY.
- SLOPE Output — Slope/integrator output
- COLD MAC — Central macro knob. Generates +/-5V (0V at noon) that normaled to all six processing channels, simultaneously crossfading, folding, and shap
- FOLLOW — Envelope follower output derived from the LEFT input signal. Outputs a smoothed amplitude envelope.
- AND 2 — Second input for the AND minimum/logic channel.
- OR 1 — First input for the OR maximum/logic channel. Normaled to SURVEY.
- OFFSET — CV summed with both LEFT(OUT) and RIGHT(OUT)
- OR 2 — Second input for the OR maximum/logic channel.
- ~LOCATION — Inverted SURVEY output. Outputs the opposite voltage of the SURVEY knob/CV, useful for contra-motion crossfades.
- SURVEY — Generates ±5v voltage with 0v at noon, can be modulated by CV input
- MAC — CV input that overrides the SURVEY knob position. Allows external voltage control of the central macro parameter.
