Modbap Modular Per4mer
Quad arcade-button performance FX for beatmakers and DJs
14 HP Eurorack module
Per4mer is a quad performance FX eurorack module featuring delay, reverb, glitch, and tape stop effects triggered by four arcade buttons, designed for live beatmaker and DJ-style improvisation. It also includes compression and color processing with eight tonal presets, CV and gate control over all effects, and tap tempo sync. The module draws inspiration from hip-hop and boom-bap performance techniques, bringing spontaneous, rhythmic FX triggering to the modular world.

Controls & Jacks (26)
- GLITCH — Large performance knob controlling glitch effect intensity and pattern. Illuminated ring shows current value.
- Gate 1 (Delay) — Gate input for the Delay effect. A high gate engages Delay; a low gate releases it.
- Gate 4 (Tape Stop) — Gate input for the Tape Stop effect. A high gate engages Tape Stop; a low gate releases it.
- Gate 3 (Glitch) — Gate input for the Glitch effect. A high gate engages Glitch; a low gate releases it.
- CV4 — CV input for FX4 (Tape Stop) send level. Voltage controls tape stop mix.
- OUTPUT R — Right stereo processed audio output.
- INPUT R — Right stereo audio input. Accepts Eurorack or line level signals.
- Gate 2 (Reverb) — Gate input for the Reverb effect. A high gate engages Reverb; a low gate releases it.
- CV2 — CV input for FX2 (Reverb) send level. Voltage controls reverb mix.
- CV1 — CV input for FX1 (Delay) send level. Voltage controls delay mix.
- CV3 — CV input for FX3 (Glitch) send level. Voltage controls glitch mix.
- OUTPUT L — Left stereo processed audio output.
- SIDE CHAIN — Side chain input for the compressor. External audio signal fed here controls the compression envelope applied to the main signal.
- INPUT L — Left stereo audio input. Accepts Eurorack or line level signals.
- TAPE STOP — Large performance knob controlling tape stop effect speed and curve. Illuminated ring shows current value.
- DELAY — Large performance knob controlling delay effect depth and feedback. Illuminated ring shows current value.
- CLOCK — External clock input for syncing delay time and other tempo-based effects to external sources.
- FX4 — Controls the FX send level for channel 4 (Tape Stop). Sets the wet/dry mix for the tape stop effect.
- REVERB — Large performance knob controlling reverb effect size and decay. Illuminated ring shows current value.
- FX1 — Controls the FX send level for channel 1 (Delay). Sets the wet/dry mix for the delay effect.
- FX2 — Controls the FX send level for channel 2 (Reverb). Sets the wet/dry mix for the reverb effect.
- FX3 — Controls the FX send level for channel 3 (Glitch). Sets the wet/dry mix for the glitch effect.
- SHIFT — Shift button for accessing secondary functions. Hold while adjusting other controls for alternate parameters.
- COLOR — Controls the tonal character and color of the effects. Adjusts filter/EQ applied to effect signals.
- COMP — Controls the compression amount applied to the output. Higher values increase compression ratio and makeup gain.
- TAP — Tap tempo button for setting delay time. Tap repeatedly to set BPM. LED indicates tempo.
