RXR is a 4HP 6-voice stereo PCM drum module from Modulaire Maritime that pays tribute to late-1980s and early-1990s Japanese digital drum machines (Kawai, Akai, Yamaha). It ships with a curated 298-sample library across 4 banks, six trigger inputs feeding six independent voices, per-voice editable pitch / decay / level / pan, an internal sidechain-style compressor with adjustable depth and release, and six savable drum kits. A single rotary encoder drives the entire menu UX, while Bluetooth LE MIDI lets the module be played wirelessly from a DAW, phone, or tablet and merge those notes with the physical trigger inputs.

- 6 user kit slots, each saving sounds, mix, pan, and compressor state
- Single rotary encoder UX with short/double/long/very-long press code
- Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 MIDI input, paired in parallel with physical triggers
- Standalone use via USB-C power and side 3.5 mm headphone/line output
- General MIDI percussion mapping with automatic note remapping
- Soft clipper and built-in gain staging for modular-level output
- Auto-save after 3 s of inactivity; manual factory reset to restore defaults
