Make Noise MultiMod
From one control signal, create many variations
10 HP Eurorack module
MultiMod is a DSP-powered signal multiplier that takes one control signal and creates 8 modified copies with independent phase spacing and speed variations. It feels like having a cluster of related but unique modulators that drift in and out of sync, creating complex evolving relationships from simple sources.
Features
- 8 independent channel outputs
- Internal LFO when no input patched
- Tempo sync with grid quantization
- Hold function for looping
- Channel Index output tracks highest amplitude channel
- DC coupled +/-10V range
- Reset synchronization
Controls & Jacks (26)
- Power — Power indicator
- Signal In — input cv
- Hold In — input gate
- Hold — Toggles Hold on/off. Stops creating new copies and loops current ones. Sets current position as Reset point
- Phase — Sets phase spacing of signal copies, weighted by channel. Each channel gets progressively more out of phase. Combo pot: manual offset when u
- Spread CV Attenuverter — Attenuverter for Spread CV input
- Phase CV In — input cv
- Spread CV In — input cv
- Spread — Sets divisors/multipliers of channel playback speeds. 12:00 = 1x unity. CW multiplies ch1-4 and divides ch5-8. CCW reverses. Max x8/÷8 per c
- Rate — Modulation rate
- Tempo Reset — Returns all channels to current position according to Time and Phase. Re-aligns phase of all channels
- Shape — Selects read shape via 7 color-coded modes: Red=Ramp, Green=Saw, Blue=Triangle, Purple=Sine, Pink=Square, Orange=Stepped Random, Yellow=Ramp
- Time — Sets global write/read speed. CCW = shorter (more responsive), CW = longer copies. Sets internal LFO rate when unpatched. Quantized to subdi
- CLK Out — output clock
- Reset In — reset gate
- Tempo In — input clock
- Time CV In — input cv
- Channel Index Out — output cv
- Channel 2 Out — output cv
- Channel 3 Out — output cv
- Channel 1 Out — output cv
- Channel 4 Out — output cv
- Channel 5 Out — output cv
