Music Thing Modular Turing Machine Mk II
Random looping sequencer for evolving generative melodies
10 HP Eurorack module
The Turing Machine Mk II is a random looping sequencer for Eurorack modular synthesizers. It generates evolving CV and gate patterns by randomly flipping bits in a shift register, with a probability knob controlling how chaotic or locked the sequence becomes. Its musical character ranges from perfectly locked melodic loops to wildly unpredictable generative sequences, making it ideal for self-playing patches and evolving compositions.
Features
- 8 or 16-step looping shift register sequencer
- Probability knob controls randomness from locked loop to total chaos
